🍃 Our Story
“Healing the future by growing from the past”
"De Beerhorst” began with a deep need and a clear vision.
Not with bricks and timber—but with hope, healing, and the drive to cultivate something meaningful.
We were searching for ways to help our son Kristián recover, and believed that clean food, purposeful work, and care for the earth could offer something medicine alone could not.
At “De Beerhorst”, farming isn’t just a livelihood, it’s legacy, love, and a life reclaimed.
“De Beerhorst” comes from our Dutch family roots, where generations ago, a farm called “De Beerhorst” cultivated more than crops—it cultivated identity. Though the land is no longer ours, the spirit remains. Today, in the hills of Czechia, we grow with intention: healing our son Kristián, nurturing the earth, and rediscovering the meaning of sustainability. Faced with medical challenges, we turned to nature—not only to feed our bodies, but to nourish our hope. As our garden grew, so did our belief: that clean food, meaningful work, and caring for the soil could restore what medicine couldn’t.
What began as personal healing became a vision for something greater.

We now grow vegetables, herbs, and medicinal plants using sustainable methods that give back to the land. Each seed is planted with care, each terrace shaped by hand, each harvest a reminder of the resilience we carry.

Our story is not perfect. It’s messy, rooted, evolving—and we wouldn't want it any other way. Because like the plants we grow, we are shaped by the seasons, humbled by the earth, and strengthened by time.
This is “De Beerhorst”—not just a place, but a promise:
- To grow with purpose.
- To live with care.
- To heal with every harvest.
